Hola family, friends and you,

Busy traveling, occupied with figuring out, taxes, health insurance, and surviving this new nomadic lifestyle. We finally took our heads out of the sand literally — we are in Congress, Arizona! We realized that eight months have gone by since the sale of our house in Boise, Idaho. We have been silent for too long.

We talked about how to portray our Incessant Journey with all of you. We chose to utilize what we have at our disposal. Being on the road, minimizing finances is a priority and having another website platform would be too expensive. So bear with us, as we build upon Louise's website (www.louiselevergneux.com) to distribute our experiences. Please ignore the header and menu bar on top unless you are curious about viewing Louise’s on-going artists’ books making and studio blog posts. Louise is after all not retired !

This nomadic life started in October 2016 after Louise's trip back home in Ontario and Québec. Several conversations later, the result was we love to travel more than having a brick and mortar home and all its expenses and administrivia. We could not have both, so we chose traveling, which we still enjoy together.

We felt stuck in Idaho, espcially after the passing of our precious companion Topaz.

Even our wonderful house was not enough to bring back the life it needed to fill our hearts ! Selling most or our belongings and moving left us with a travel trailer the size of our last master bedroom's walk-in closet, a few possessions, and the clothes in our luggage.

Traveling helps to start over, to live, and to appreciate — strangely enough — the unknown of going from place to place renews our sense of purpose.

Traveling day after day still incorporates all the normal issues of life including: payments, cleaning, emptying the black water, frustrations, etc... But, it compels new life into our 32-year-old marriage and retains our growing love for each other.
